State Representative Gayle Manning Named 2026 Home Health and Hospice Hero

COLUMBUS, OH – State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) was honored this week by the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice as a 2026 Home Health and Hospice Hero in recognition of her commitment to supporting home health and hospice care services across Ohio.
The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated leadership and dedication to advancing policies that support patients, families, and the professionals who provide compassionate, quality care in homes and communities throughout the state.
“I am truly honored to receive this recognition from the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice,” said Rep. Manning. “Home health and hospice professionals play an invaluable role in caring for some of our most vulnerable Ohioans, providing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families. I am grateful for their tireless work and remain committed to ensuring Ohioans have access to the quality care they deserve.”
The award was presented during the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice's Annual Conference & Trade Show on Tuesday, October 13, at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville.
The Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice advocates for home-based healthcare providers and the patients and families they serve, working to strengthen access to quality home health and hospice services across Ohio.
This is the second award Representative Manning has received within the last week. She was honored with the Buckeye Association of School Administrator’s (BASA) 2026 Warren Russell Award last Tuesday. The Warren Russell Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant impact on the legislative and rulemaking processes that shape BASA’s statewide efforts.
