Funding for Brownfield Remediation Coming to Fostoria, Seneca County

COLUMBUS – Today, the State Controlling Board has approved the release of $265,000 for a clean-up and remediation project in Fostoria, Seneca County announced State Representative Gary Click.

“I am pleased to see this funding coming to Fostoria for brownfield remediation which helps to rejuvenate otherwise useless land leaving it suitable for economic development projects that will benefit the community,” said Click. 

This funding will be used to remove underground storage tanks, abatement of asbestos, lead or other contamination, demolition, and site clearance. 

The location of this site is 892 North County line Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830.
