Rep. White Stands with Texas Lawmakers at Press Conference Against Rigged Congressional Maps

BOSTON — State Rep. Erika White (D-Springfield Township) Wednesday stood in solidarity with Democratic members of the Texas State Senate alongside dozens of lawmakers from all across the nation in Boston, MA denouncing the undemocratic attempt by Texas Republicans to unfairly redraw the state's congressional maps to favor Republicans candidates ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Rep. White: Republicans' Veto Override Leaves Local Communities Holding the Bag, Still No Real Property Relief for Majority of Ohioans

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Erika White (D-Springfield Township) today voted “NO” on the vote to override a school district property tax levy restriction provision vetoed in House Bill 96 (the state operating budget). Line-item 66 would eliminate several types of levies, limiting the choices voters have in how to support their schools and local governments, and would not provide real property tax relief to Ohioans. Real property tax relief is one of the most pressing needs for everyday Ohioans. House Democrats are ready and willing to work together to get that done.

Rep. White Celebrates Bipartisan Bill Honoring Black, All-Female WWII Unit Being Voted Out of Committee

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Erika White (D-Springfield Township) and Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) Wednesday were excited to announce that House Bill (HB) 204 was unanimously voted out of the House Veterans and Military Development Committee. The bill honors the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, commonly known as the "Six Triple Eight," the only Black, all-female unit serving in Europe during World War II.
