Rep. Rogers to Join International Panel on the Future of Infrastructure Tuesday

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Elgin Rogers, Jr. (D-Toledo) today announced that he will be joining an international dialogue on the future of infrastructure as a panelist at a virtual event hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest (GACC Midwest) today December 9th at 12:00pm EST. The public forum brings together leaders across government, business, and research to explore infrastructure investment, innovation, and sustainability across the United States and Germany.
“Infrastructure is about more than roads and pipes,” said Rep. Rogers. “It’s about how people live, work, and thrive. I’m honored to take part in a discussion that connects Ohio innovation with global leadership, so we can build systems that serve our communities for generations.”
The event marks the conclusion of GACC Midwest’s multi-year Transatlantic Dialogue initiative, which has focused on developing forward-looking infrastructure strategies. Topics include clean energy, EV charging, water systems, and technology-driven infrastructure resiliency.
The virtual panel takes place at 12:00 PM EST and is open to the public.
Rep. Rogers continues his commitment to advancing modern, equitable infrastructure that supports jobs, sustainability, and community development throughout Ohio.
