Rep. Jarrells urges Ohioans to take precautions as severe storms and potential electric outages expected overnight

COLUMBUS – Today, AEP Ohio issued an advisory for potential power outages the night of July 20 due to extreme weather. State Rep. Dontavius Jarrells (D-Columbus) urges central Ohioans to take proper precautions to prepare for the severe weather and potential power outages. 

“The June power outages directly impacted my constituents. I advocated fiercely for accountability from AEP, and AEP issued this advisory in order to help Columbus residents prepare for tonight’s severe weather and prevent mid June’s disastrous outages from happening again,” said Rep. Jarrells.
