Rep. Manning Applauds Controlling Board Approval for Lorain County Projects

State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $550,000 for community projects in Lorain County.
“These investments will help strengthen our communities, support local priorities, and improve the quality of life for residents across the county,” said Manning. “I appreciate the partnership of local leaders and stakeholders who helped secure this funding, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact these projects will have for years to come.”
The following projects have been awarded funding:
- $500,000 for North Ridgeville Mills Creek to make improvements for aquatic wildlife habitat, riparian corridor, implement walking trails, and more.
- $50,000 for the Avon Lake Veterans Park Gazebo Project to construct a gazebo and sidewalk at Veterans Memorial Park
The Ohio Controlling Board oversees requests for changes to budgetary authority for state agencies.
