Manning Applauds Controlling Board Approval for Extended Trail at French Creek Sports Complex

State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) is pleased to share that the Ohio Controlling Board on Monday released $1,075,000 for the French Creek Sports Complex in Lorain County. The City of Avon will extend and construct a 1.6-mile multi-use trail along French Creek Road in Avon.

“This new multi-use trail will be an excellent addition for the community,” said Manning. “This a great way for Ohioans to exercise and enjoy all that French Creek Sports Complex has to offer.”

The construction of this project is expected to be completed by June 2028.

The Ohio Controlling Board oversees requests for changes to budgetary authority for state agencies.
