COLUMBUS -  State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today announced the passage of Senate Bill 450, the state's biennial capital appropriations budget. COLUMBUS – Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) today condemned the failure of Governor Mike DeWine to line-item veto a provision hidden within House Bill 315 that would allow police departments to charge up to $75 per hour for video records including body cam, dash cam, and jail security footage in response to public records requests. 

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) and Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) yesterday introduced the Ohio Safe Homes Act, House Bill (HB) 855. This legislation would allow a tenant to terminate a rental agreement or request a change of locks at the tenant’s expense, if the tenant is a victim of rape, attempted rape, domestic rape, dating violence, abuse, or a sexually oriented offense.
