COLUMBUS - House Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) today attended the White House’s One-Year Anniversary of Communities in Action: Building a Better Ohio event in Columbus celebrating the transformative impact of the Biden-Harris Administration over the past year.

“Under the Biden-Harris Administration, Ohio has seen remarkable progress. Intel’s $20 billion investment, the expansion of electric vehicle opportunities, and access to affordable high-speed internet, to name a few, have all improved the lives of Ohioans,” said Leader Russo. “These achievements reflect a commitment to Ohio’s prosperity and well-being.”

The event particularly highlighted the significant impact of Central Ohio as one of the five “Workforce Hubs”, areas around the country where historic legislation passed by President Biden, including the CHIPS and Science Act are creating good-paying jobs and boosting private and public investments. The White House guest speaker at the event was Tom Perez, former Labor Secretary and Senior Advisor to the President.
