Rep. Russo statement on Biden inauguration

State Rep. Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) issued a statement on Wednesday’s inauguration of Joe Biden as President and Kamala Harris as Vice President of the United States.

“I am delighted to congratulate President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on their first day in office,” said Rep. Russo. “Today’s inauguration was a renewal of our commitment to our democracy, truth, and the American people. It was also a historic day that included the first African-American/Indian woman Vice President of our great country. I look forward to working with the new Biden administration to build back a nation—and a state—where we can all work, live, and thrive right here at home.”
