C. Allison Russo News

COLUMBUS– State Rep. Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) today announced the start of early voting in Franklin County. The announcement comes as thousands of Ohioans converged on their county board of elections early on Tuesday morning to cast a ballot on the first day of early voting.

“Voting is one of the key pillars upholding our democracy,” said Rep. Russo.  “Starting today, Ohioans will be able to vote early, either in person or absentee.  I encourage all Ohioans to exercise their right to vote and make their voices heard, especially during these critical times.”

The announcement of early voting commencing also accompanies the beginning of the absentee voting period, during which a record number of absentee ballots will be mailed out, as Ohioans exercise their right to vote safely from their homes. Those ballots will be sent to Ohioans who applied for them in the coming days.
