Rep. McNally, Austintown Township Announces $4,875 in Grant Funding to Combat Illegal Dumping in Austintown

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) and the Austintown Township Administration today announced $4,875 from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office’s “Shine a Light on Dumpers” program, awarded to Austintown Township. The funding will be used to stop after-hours dumping at Green Briar Township Park by installing a barrier gate at the park entrance to limit access during non-operational hours.

Rep. McNally Announces $104,260.36 in Grant Funding for Mahoning County Drug Task Forces

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced that Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office has received $104,260.36 in grant funding from the 2025 Drug Law Enforcement Grant program. The 2025 Ohio Drug Law Enforcement Fund targets drug trafficking, pharmaceutical diversion and organized criminal activity associated with the drug trade through intelligence gathering, information sharing and multi-agency coordination. Grants also assist drug overdose victims and their families through education, support and treatment. This is part of a wider initiative announced by Gov. Mike DeWine to combat Ohio’s illicit substance trade.

Rep. McNally Congratulates Austintown Fitch High School's Designation as 2025 Purple Star Class

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced that the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce designated Austintown Fitch High School as 2025 Purple Star Class. Purple Star schools show a significant commitment to serving students and families connected to our nation’s armed forces. This is the first time that Austintown Fitch High School has received this award.

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced $5,000 in grant funding from the America 250-Ohio Commission for the Layers of Legacy: Preserving Youngstown’s Hidden History project. The Layers of Legacy project will celebrate Youngstown’s rich and diverse history through a vibrant public mural that brings to life untold and underrepresented stories.

Rep. McNally Announces $1.1M for Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation
