State Representative Lorenz Appointed to House Energy Committee

State Representative Brian Lorenz (R-Powell) today announced that he was appointed to serve on the House Energy Committee.
“I’m honored to be appointed to the Ohio House Energy Committee and thankful for the trust placed in me,” said Rep. Lorenz. “Ohio’s energy future must be built on reliability, affordability, and energy independence. That means continuing to support Ohio’s natural gas, coal, and nuclear industries—resources that provide dependable baseload power, good-paying jobs, and a stable electric grid. I will oppose policies that weaken reliability, raise costs for families, or force Ohio to rely on intermittent energy sources driven by federal mandates. My focus will be protecting ratepayers, strengthening our grid, and ensuring Ohio remains a national leader in dependable, American-made energy.”
The Ohio House Energy Committee focuses on policy regarding electric generation and distribution, utility regulation, energy affordability, and strategies to support reliable energy resources.
Committee meetings are live streamed on the Ohio Channel and can be viewed here.
