COLUMBUS – The Guaranty Fund Protection Act, championed by State Representative Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) was signed into law Tuesday. The legislation will enhance the overall stability of the insurance industry in Ohio for consumers.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) supported the passage of House Bill 687, the state’s two-year, $3.5 billion construction budget for capital projects.

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representatives joined State Representative Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) to vote in favor of House Bill 530. This legislation will enhance the overall stability of the insurance industry in Ohio for consumers. 

COLUMBUS – Ohio joins 14 other states in protecting living organ donors from discrimination by insurance companies with the enactment of House Bill 188, Wednesday. 

COLUMBUS – Wednesday, Governor Mike DeWine gave his State of the State Address to the 134th General Assembly. During Gov. DeWine’s remarks, State Representative Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) and State Representative Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) were recognized for their work on legislation regarding distracted driving.

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representatives joined State Representative Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) to vote in favor of House Bill 447. This legislation will prevent frivolous workers’ compensation claims from work-from-home employees when the injury sustained by the employee is outside of the employer’s control. 

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representatives voted to pass House Bill 161, also known as Jacob’s Law, Wednesday. The legislation will add individuals who have been convicted of crimes against children to the state’s Violent Offender Registry.
