State Representative Beth Lear (R-Galena) attended the White House State Leadership Conference last week alongside more than 50 Ohio lawmakers and other officials. The conference was organized by the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to foster collaboration and communication between federal, state and local governments, while providing a forum to discuss shared priorities, policies, and more.

State Representative Beth Lear (R-Galena) today voted in support of House Bill 15 – a market-driven initiative that aims to boost power generation in Ohio, improve affordability for ratepayers and increase reliability within the state’s electrical grid.

COLUMBUS – On Tuesday, the Protect All Student’s Act, included in Senate Bill 104, sponsored by State Representatives Adam Bird (R-New Richmond) and Beth Lear (R-Galena) was signed into law by Governor Mike DeWine.

“We are thankful that individuals will not have to worry about members of the opposite sex coming into restrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms in Ohio,” said Bird.  “Thank you, Governor DeWine, for signing this important legislation and keeping students safe.”
