COLUMBUS – State Rep. Marilyn John (R-Richland County) today announced that the Ohio House has approved House Concurrent Resolution 7, legislation that urges Congress and the U.S. Department of Defense to keep the 179th Airlift Wing in Mansfield and to utilize its expertise in support of the C-130J Super Hercules aircraft while awaiting a decision on the Air National Guard Cyber Wing.

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representative yesterday passed House Bill 110, the House’s version of Ohio’s two-year budget plan. State Representative Marilyn John (R-Richland County) voted in support of the bill.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport) announced a statue of the legendary Ohio astronaut and Senator arrived at the Statehouse last Wednesday and was installed in the Map Room, where it will be displayed for the next year. 

COLUMBUS – The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board (CSRAB) approved the temporary display of a John Glenn statue crafted by Zanesville artist Alan Cottrill on Thursday. Speaking to the Board prior to the vote, Representative Holmes shared the personal connection he had with the legendary astronaut. John Glenn was born in Cambridge, which Holmes currently represents, and both Glenn and Rep. Holmes served as pilots in the Marine Corps. “I tell people frequently that I would never assume to be like John Glenn,” Holmes said, “but I certainly understand where he came from. I certainly understand where his value system, his work ethic and his patriotism came from.” Representative Holmes believes countless Ohioans share his admiration for Glenn’s legacy. 

COLUMBUS – Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport) delivered sponsor testimony on House Bill 122, also known as the Telemedicine Expansion Act, to the House Insurance Committee on Wednesday. 

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representatives last week passed House Bill 305, a bill to comprehensively reform Ohio’s primary and secondary school funding framework. 

COLUMBUS – The state Controlling Board last week released $500,000 for Muskingum Behavioral Health, a partner agency of the Muskingum Area Board of Mental Health & Recovery Services, announced State Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport).  

COLUMBUS – State Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport) today announced the release of over $4.3 million in CARES Act funds to communities throughout the 97^th House District. The funds come following the House’s passage of House Bill 614, which Holmes supported.
