State Representative Robert Sprague (R-Findlay) today announced the signing of House Bill 110 by Governor John Kasich. House Bill 110 includes provisions from House Bill 249, the “Good Samaritan Law,” legislation that was originally sponsored by Representative Sprague and Representative Denise Driehaus (D-Cincinnati).

As we move into the summer months, I’m certainly looking forward to all the activities taking place in Richland County and around Ohio. Ohio’s new brand: “Ohio. Find it Here,” certainly captures the essence of our state and highlights its’ vast tourism industry.  We are truly blessed to live in a state with such a large variety of activities as well as limitless opportunities for adventure—including amusement parks, state parks, rivers, campsites, in addition to the many festivals and live events hosted by big and small cities throughout Ohio.

COLUMBUS—State Representatives Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira) and Margy Conditt (R-Liberty Township) today joined with Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel to highlight the official launch of STABLE accounts in Ohio. The savings plan, which is the first of its kind in the country, enables individuals with disabilities the option to save and invest.

State Representative Tim Ginter (R-Salem) today applauded Governor Kasich’s signing of House Bill 116, legislation he sponsored. The bill will allow partial drug prescription refills for the purpose of synchronizing multiple prescriptions for one patient.

During this week’s voting sessions, the Ohio House of Representatives passed four pieces of legislation sponsored by Rep. Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira), which now await consideration by Governor John Kasich.
 

State Representative Mike Duffey (R-Worthington) announced passage of House Bill 359, legislation he sponsored with Rep. Anne Gonzales (R-Westerville), which establishes for the first time in Ohio an Address Confidentiality Program for stalking and domestic violence victims.
