COLUMBUS—State Representative Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) today announced that the General Assembly will begin the capital budget process for fiscal years 2027-28. The capital budget is one of Ohio’s five main budgets and focuses on brick-and-mortar projects funded by state bonds.

Drink spiking is the practice of putting an illicit substance in someone’s drink without their knowledge and usually co-occurs with other crimes such as sexual violence and theft.
