COLUMBUS- Representatives David Thomas (R-Jefferson) and Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) introduced a bill designed to improve Ohio’s Current Agricultural Use Value (CAUV) property tax savings program. The bill, which incorporates recommendations from the Ohio Farm Bureau, County Auditors, and farmers, aims to provide more clarity, transparency, and consistency for agricultural landowners across Ohio.

COLUMBUS – State Representative D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) announced that House Concurrent Resolution 26 received its first committee hearing yesterday to initiate the removal proceedings of Judge Ted Berry.

Swearingen (R-Huron) to initiate the Ohio House of Representative’s removal proceedings against Judge Ted Berry, received its first hearing in the House General Government Committee. 

Speaker of the Ohio House Matt Huffman (R-Lima) and Senate President Rob McColley (R-Napoleon) today announced that Bill Rowland has been selected as the new Director of the Ohio Legislative Service Commission (LSC) upon the retirement of Director Wendy Zhan, effective Friday, November 7th, 2025. Additionally, Julie Rishel has been named the new Assistant Director of LSC.
