COLUMBUS – State Rep. Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board has approved more than $1M in funding to support critical infrastructure improvements and behavioral health housing projects in Hamilton County.

COLUMBUS — State Reps. Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) today announced that House Bill (HB) 359, the Joshua Alert, received a unanimous vote in the Ohio Senate Armed Services, Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee. The legislation now advances to the Senate Chamber for a floor vote.

State Rep. Scott Wiggam (R-Wayne County) has introduced companion legislation to Senate Bill 22, under House Bill 90, which seeks to add legislative transparency and oversight into the process of health orders. The announcement comes as outcry from constituents has continued due to the unchecked, restrictive health orders that were initiated from the administration.
