Ohio House Passes Legislation Expanding Municipalities' Ability to Make Profitable Investments

The Ohio House today voted in favor of House Bill 251, sponsored by Dave Greenspan (R-Westlake), which expands the current five-year limit on political subdivisions investment ability to a limit of 10 years. This increases the maturity of the investment, which increases the municipality’s revenue opportunity.

 
 
Carfagna Touts Broadband Expansion Legislation at Meeting with County Commissioners

COLUMBUS—State Representative Rick Carfagna (R-Genoa Township) today met with members of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO) to discuss House Bill 281, legislation he is sponsoring that deals with broadband expansion in Ohio.
