COLUMBUS– State Rep. Jamie Callender (R-Concord) recently participated in the Great Lakes Commission’s semi-annual meeting held in Washington, D.C., which focused on expanding cooperative efforts between the member states and provinces of the Great Lakes Commission. One of these efforts being a historic compact between the Great Lakes Commission, the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, and the International Joint Commission.

Rep. Klopfenstein testifies in committee on Trey's Law.

State Representatives Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) and Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) this week provided sponsor testimony on “Trey’s Law” in the Ohio House Judiciary Committee. House Bill 723 strengthens protections for victims of sexual abuse and ensures perpetrators are held accountable for their crimes.

COLUMBUS—State Representative Melanie Miller (R-Ashland), Chair of the House Arts, Athletics, and Tourism Committee, is pleased to announce that the Ohio House of Representatives yesterday passed House Bill 732, legislation to create the “Ohio, The Heart of It All Pass” Program, with overwhelming support of 91-4.
