COLUMBUS—State Representative Steve Demetriou (R-Bainbridge Twp.) announced the passage of House Bill 86 today, the Gus Frangos Act. The legislation, which passed with bipartisan support, delivers significant updates to Ohio’s land banking and tax foreclosure laws—strengthening property owner rights, modernizing legal procedures, and expanding collaboration between land banks and local governments.

State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) announces legislation he introduced under House Bill 600, known as the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Act, was put into Roemer’s House Bill 45 and approved by the General Assembly this week. PACE provides: 

State Representative Ron Ferguson (R-Wintersville) and State Representative Kevin Miller (R-Newark) today announced the favorable passage of Substitute House Bill 392, which will authorize emergency medical personnel to transport a police dog by ambulance if the K-9 is injured in the line of duty. 

State Rep. Bob Young (R-Green) is highlighting this weekend as the declaration of Oct. 9 being recognized as PANDAS/PANS Awareness Day by the Governor’s Office. Young has introduced House Bill 189, which requires insurers and Medicaid to cover the PANDAS and PANS.
