COLUMBUS – State Representative Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) voted in support of the new two-year state budget that includes major health care reforms as well as tax relief for Ohio families.

COLUMBUS— Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) today announced the Ohio House passage of House Bill 11, legislation that addresses infant mortality. The goal of the legislation, sponsored by State Representatives Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) and Stephanie Howse (D-Cleveland), is to reduce infant mortality and improve the health of the mother and child.

COLUMBUS— State Representatives Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) and Erica Crawley (D-Columbus) recently introduced House Bill 239, the Testing Reduction Act. This legislation will reduce the amount of time that Ohio’s students spend on standardized testing.

COLUMBUS— State Representative Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) announced today that the Ohio Controlling Board has approved funds for a greenhouse project at the Grafton Correctional Institution (GCI) in Grafton, Ohio. This money will go toward the construction of a new greenhouse to facilitate the hands-on portion of the Horticulture program at the Grafton Reintegration Center (GRC).

COLUMBUS— State Representative Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) announced today that the Ohio Controlling Board has approved funds to purchase equipment for Lorain County Community College (LCCC). This money will go toward the purchase of equipment identified in the Regionally Aligned Priorities in Delivering Skills (RAPIDS) grant 2019, the maternal and neonatal simulation system and a pediatric simulator for the Erie, Huron and Ottowa Vocational Education (EHOVE) Career Center partnership program in Milan and Erie Counties.

HB 123, the Safety and Violence Education for Students Act (SAVE for Students Act) is co-sponsored by Representative Glenn Holmes (D-McDonald).
