COLUMBUS, OH — State Representatives David Thomas (R-Jefferson) and Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) are leading House Concurrent Resolution 24, legislation urging Congress to address the growing national debt, which has now surpassed $37 trillion — more than 123% of the United States economic output. The resolution highlights that the debt amounts to about $108,000 per Ohio resident, with over $8 trillion held by foreign investors, including more than $800 billion owned by China.

State Representative Kevin Miller (R-Newark) is pleased to announce that Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed Senate Bill 114 – legislation that prohibits a law enforcement official or agency from requiring officers to meet an arrest or citation quota. Senate Bill 114 is companion legislation to House Bill 131, championed by Miller.
