Rep. Holmes Applauds Federal Flood Relief for Eastern Ohio Communities

State Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport) is pleased to share that President Trump approved a major disaster declaration for Ohio, providing federal assistance to affected individuals in Clermont, Franklin, Hamilton, Licking, Morgan, Muskingum, and Perry counties, which were impacted by the severe storms and flooding in mid-August.
“We sincerely appreciate the rapid response from the Federal government for people truly in need,” said Holmes.
This announcement follows several requests made by state leaders, including Governor DeWine and Congressman Troy Balderson. This federal funding will help Ohioans who are in need of assistance with disaster-related needs, temporary sheltering, hazard mitigation, and small business recovery.
