Ohio House Adopts Resolution Urging the U.S. Airforce to Select Rickenbacker National Guard Base as KC-46 Pegasus Refueling Aircraft Location

State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) today announced that the Ohio House of Representatives passed House Resolution 243 – legislation urging the Secretary of Air Force to select 121st Air Refueling Wing at the Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base as the preferred main operating base for the KC-46 Pegasus refueling aircraft.
“The KC-46 is a top priority for the Ohio National Guard, and Rickenbacker is fully equipped to support this important mission,” said Rep. Richardson. “By passing House Resolution 243, we send a clear message of support to our military and demonstrate Ohio’s continued leadership in defense.”
The Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base is located within four hours of 60% of all Department of Defense customers and six to eight hours of nearly 80% of potential customers, which also sits in a geographic location that enjoys a very low risk for natural disasters and weather issues.
House Resolution 243 is now adopted.
