Rep. Sobecki says State continues to fail thousands of Ohioans

Following the Unemployment Compensation Modernization and Improvement Council meeting on Thursday, State Rep. Lisa Sobecki (D-Toledo) issued the following statement. 

“The State of Ohio continues to fail thousands of Ohioans resulting from decades of neglect of the Unemployment Compensation system, an insolvent trust fund, and inadequate leadership from the Governor,” said Rep. Sobecki. “Ohioans have done everything they were asked to do and the Unemployment System has let them down. I’ll be damned if we continue to fail Ohioans and don’t make a change.”
