Rep. John Appointed to NCSL Executive Committee

COLUMBUS – State Representative Marilyn John (R-Richland County) is pleased to announce that she was recently appointed to serve on the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) Executive Committee. 

The Executive Committee is made up of 63 members, including 41 legislators, 21 legislative staff members, and one non-voting ex officio member representing international affiliates. The Committee oversees NCSL by providing strategic direction and guiding policies and finances.

“It is an honor to serve alongside Speaker Huffman and House Clerk Young on the Executive Committee for NCSL,” said John. “NCSL has given me great guidance during my time in the legislature and I’m excited to serve in this new role.”

Established in 1975, NCSL is a bipartisan non-governmental organization designed to serve the members and staff of all state legislatures in the United States.
