Ohio House Elects Rep. Grim to Democratic Caucus Leadership

Freshman legislator and former Toledo councilwoman will serve as Assistant Minority Whip for 135th General Assembly

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today announced that she was elected by the Ohio House of Representatives Wednesday as Assistant Minority Whip of the Ohio House Democratic Caucus for the 135th General Assembly. Rep. Grim is currently serving her first term in the Ohio House.

“I am honored that my colleagues in the Ohio House voted to support my election to the office of Assistant Minority Whip. House Democrats will continue to fight to ensure all Ohioans have the freedom to be who they are, the dignity of a safe community and a secure job, and the opportunity to thrive,” said Rep. Grim. “I’m excited to take on a larger role within our caucus and further support my colleagues in our shared mission of putting people first.”
