Ohio House Passes Bill to Create the Ohio Israel Trade and Innovation Partnership

COLUMBUS— State Representative Thomas Hall (R- Madison Twp.) is pleased to announce that the Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 188, legislation championed by Hall and State Representative Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood) to create the Ohio Israel Trade and Innovation Partnership.
By establishing this partnership, the bill aims to advance innovation, trade, and investment between Ohio and Israel.
“Today is a historic day for Ohio and its ongoing partnership with Israel,” said Hall. “In 2023, I was able to visit Israel on a state delegation visit. During the visit, I met with many different industries, including start-ups and emerging technology. This partnership seeks to bring these businesses to Ohio. I am tired of other states continually landing these businesses when they decide to grow and expand. Ohio will now be able to compete.”
“Two industries, in addition to technology, I look forward to connecting between Ohio and Israel are agriculture and water supply,” added Hall. “Both are areas that are considerably important to Ohio families.”
House Bill 188 now moves to the Ohio Senate for consideration.
