Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) today conveyed their stance against House Bill (HB) 472 following its first hearing in the Ohio House Homeland Security Committee. The anti-voter legislation deliberately creates extreme barriers for voters to safely and freely cast their ballots.

This legislation will repeal the preemption of state supervision over dog sales in pet stores. Rep. Grim also visited local dog shelters to better understand the harmful effects of the puppy mill pipeline.

HB 443 will protect Ohio’s pets and families and restore the right of local elected officials to crack down on the puppy mill-to-pet store pipeline.
