Rep. Grim Celebrates the Expansion of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Across Ohio Thanks to Federal Funded Program

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today applauds the announcement of 27 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to be built along seven of Ohio’s interstate corridors thanks largely to $18 million dollars of federal funding from the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program.

Democrats Urge Reinstated Maritime Assistance Program Funding

Today, state Representatives Michele Grim (D-Toledo), Mike Skindell (D-Lakewood), Senate Minority Leader Nickie Antonio (D-Lakewood), and state Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson (D-Toledo) hosted a press conference to urge legislative leaders to reinstate funding for Ohio’s Maritime Assistance Program in the state budget during conference committee.

Bill to Enact Extreme Risk Protection Orders Receives Sponsor Testimony by Reps. Grim, Thomas

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) and Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) today provided sponsor testimony on House Bill (HB) 170, which would establish a legal process for temporarily removing firearms from the possession of people who are displaying signs of being a danger to themselves or others, known commonly as Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO) or “red flag” laws.
