Rep. Grim: President Trump's First 100 Days Bad for Workers, Bad Businesses, Bad Ohio

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) Wednesday joined other members of the Ohio House Democratic Caucus regarding President Donald Trump’s chaotic first 100 days in office. The president’s disastrous federal policies and corrupt governing is negatively impacting Ohio’s workers and businesses, vital programs the elderly, veterans, and public schools depend on, and the public's trust in government.

“In his first 100 days, President Trump has launched an all-out assault on Ohio’s economy. His chaotic tariff policies are driving up costs for working families, hammering small businesses, and draining retirement accounts — all while delivering tax breaks to billionaires. Ohioans deserve economic stability, not self-inflicted chaos,” said Rep. Grim. 

Ohio House Democrats center their beliefs and values around the idea of putting People First. That means always putting people over politics to ensure people get the opportunities they deserve better pay, better healthcare, better education for our children, better support for our working families, and better retirement security for our seniors.
