COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced the awarding of $145,000  in state funds for local law enforcement in Ohio’s 59th district as part of the 2024 RecoveryOhio Law Enforcement Funding Awards, administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Services within the Ohio Department of Public Safety.

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today introduced House Bill (HB) 540, The Consumer Protection Call Center Act. This legislation would require notification of relocation of call centers in Ohio and disqualification of tax benefits for companies that locate jobs overseas.

Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced the awarding of $183,010.66  in state funds for local law enforcement in Ohio’s 59th district as part of the 2024 Ohio Drug Law Enforcement Funding Awards, administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Services within the Ohio Department of Public Safety. 

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today joined Mahoning County Prosecutor Gina DeGenova and members of the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission (OTIC), including OTIC Executive Director Ferzan Ahmed, for a visit to the Mahoning Valley (westbound) Turnpike Service Plaza to view camera technology following her introduction of House Bill (HB) 473. This legislation will require the maintenance of a system of security cameras at each rest area over which the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has jurisdiction, a total of 85 rest stops in Ohio.

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) and Michele Grim (D-Toledo) Wednesday introduced House Bill (HB) 521, the Child Performer Protection Act. The legislation initiates steps to protect minors in Ohio working in the entertainment industry from employment that is detrimental to their life and health.
