Rep. McNally Announces Membership to Ohio Legislative Trails Caucus for 135th General Assembly

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced she has joined the Ohio Legislative Trails Caucus.

“I am thrilled to join the Legislative Trails caucus because we have several opportunities in Ohio’s 59th district for connectivity and coordination with the state,” said Rep. McNally. “Trails are great for the environment, public health, and local economies. Investments in this kind of infrastructure directly improves our communities and our lives.”

The Legislative Trails caucus was formed in March 2017, becoming the first state trails caucus in the country, and convened its first meeting for the 135th General Assembly on Monday, December 20, 2023. The bicameral, bipartisan caucus collaborates on investments in non-motorized trails such as walking, biking, and waterways to improve quality of life for Ohioans and visitors. They are currently joining together in support of capital budget projects and funding streams to realize the 2019 Ohio Trails Vision which includes linking additional trails, maintenance, technical assistance and pre-design work, and an economic impact study.
