COLUMBUS—The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 33, the State Operating Budget for fiscal years 2024-25, with a sweeping vote of 78-19, announced Assistant Majority Floor Leader, State Rep. Jon Cross (R-Kenton).

COLUMBUS –State Representative Jon Cross (R-Kenton) secured more than $500,000 for weed harvesting operations on Indian Lake with the passing of House Bill 175 earlier this year. Now, those funds will trickle down to contractors after the Ohio Controlling Board released more than $371,000 to implement the removal operations.
COLUMBUS- With the recent passage today of the state capital budget bill, House Bill 687, State Representative Jon Cross (R-Kenton) has secured $1.8 million for local community projects, $30 million to finalize the Eagle Creek Flood Basin project, and an additional $1.25 million to help Indian Lake’s weed harvesting and maintenance project.
COLUMBUS – State Representative Jon Cross (R-Kenton) announced more money is coming to Indian Lake. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources will receive $150,000 in addition to the $500,000 that Cross secured for vegetation removal with the passing of an amendment in House Bill 175 recently.

Governor Jon Husted of $60 million in grants as part of the Ohio Brownfield Remediation Program, including more than $620,000 for projects in Hancock County. The funding is part of $350 million lawmakers included in the state budget last year for brownfield remediation.
