Gross Highlights Economic Development Projects in Butler County
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Jennifer Gross (R-West Chester) is pleased to announce two economic development projects that will benefit Butler County were recently approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA).
First, the TCA approved a 1.44 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit to support the new location of LetsGetChecked, Inc. in Fairfield, expected to create 74 full-time-equivalent positions and generate more than $4.5 million in new annual payroll. LetsGetChecked is a global healthcare solutions company offering at-home health testing kits for health and wellness conditions, integrating manufacturing, logistics, lab analysis, physician support and prescription fulfillment.
Second, the TCA approved a 1.207 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for to support the new location of SkyCell North America, Inc. in West Chester Township, expected to create 30 full-time-equivalent positions and generate $2.1 million in new annual payroll. SkyCell is a Swiss company specializing in manufacturing and shipping temperature-controlled hybrid containers for pharmaceuticals and providing technological solutions tailored for the global air cargo industry.
“Both of these projects will directly improve the health and wellbeing of our communities and state as a whole, while ensuring we remain up to date on developing healthcare technology and practices,” said Gross.
