Rep. Workman Releases Statement Regarding Fire in Deerfield Township

COLUMBUS – State Representative Heidi Workman (R-Rootstown) today released the following statement regarding the fire in Deerfield Township near Route 225 and Route 224:

“Our office has been made aware of the underground fire in Deerfield Township and is closely monitoring the situation. I am grateful to the Deerfield Township Fire Department and the many local, county, and state agencies that have responded and are working to address the situation and protect the safety of our community. I will share updates and resources with the community as more information becomes available. In the meantime, I encourage everyone in the area to follow the guidance of local officials and first responders to prioritize their safety.”
