Pavliga Announces Over $500,000 in Capital Funds for Kent State University

State Rep. Gail Pavliga (R-Portage County) announces the State Controlling Board approved over $500,000 in capital funds for various improvements and construction projects at Kent State University.
“Kent State University is such an important higher education institution within Portage County and our state that readily prepares our students for their future,” said Pavliga. “I’m happy to announce this critical funding today that continues to invest into KSU.”
The measure approved includes $537,500 to Kent State University for a Satterfield Hall project.
Additionally, the Controlling Board approved two real estate purchases made by KSU for further expansion.
The next Controlling Board meeting is scheduled for Jan. 31.
