Rep. White Hosts State of the District Address in Maumee

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Erika White (D-Springfield Township) hosted the first State of the District Address on March 31st, 2025. The event was part of a statewide initiative by House Democratic lawmakers focused on ensuring the rights and dignity of every Ohioan are upheld.

Rep. White’s updated her constituents about legislation and the budget, it also gave her constituents the opportunity to ask questions and offer input on ways to address how those decisions are affecting their lives and the issues facing their communities in person. 

“The State of the District Address was imperative to the people I serve. It upheld my commitment to accountability and transparency, while actively engaging with my constituents' needs. I am dedicated to fostering open communication through regular updates, feedback sessions, and community forums. These opportunities to connect empower those I represent facts and knowledge, which instills confidence in the ability to deliver meaningful results despite existing challenges. Together, we can navigate this critical period and lay the groundwork for a brighter future. My office will continue to host events like this moving forward,” said Rep. White.

The address provided updates on Rep. White’s legislative priorities including:

  • The Economy;
  • Supporting Workers and Families;
  • Providing Housing and Property Tax Relief; and
  • Building Momentum with Transportation.
