COLUMBUS – State Representative Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) has issued the below statement on the U.S. Supreme Court decision for the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

COLUMBUS - This month, the Ohio State Controlling Board approved requests for funding totaling over $5 million to support law enforcement programs across the state. 

COLUMBUS - State lawmakers today approved House Bill 687, legislation proposing Ohio’s new two-year state construction budget. Funding is included to aid local projects in the 29th House District. 

COLUMBUS, Ohio - State Representative Cindy Abrams’ (R-Harrison) legislation to designate February 12 as Cholangiocarinoma (pronounced koh-LAN-jee-oh-KAR-sih-NOH-muh) Awareness Day, or House Bill 537, today unanimously passed in the Senate Health Committee and was favorably passed by the Ohio Senate.

COLUMBUS - Yesterday, the Ohio House of Representatives passed legislation prioritizing public safety in Ohio. House Joint Resolution 2 calls for a constitutional amendment to require Ohio courts to consider risk to public safety when determining the amount and conditions of bail. 

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representatives approved House Bill 377, legislation with a plan to distribute the second phase of funding from the federal American Rescue Plan Act. 

COLUMBUS - House Bill 545, legislation to create privileged peer support for first responders and law enforcement, was passed by the Ohio House today. Bill sponsors State Representatives Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) and Brian Baldridge (R-Winchester) recognized the need for improved mental health resources as former first responders themselves.
