COLUMBUS – State Representatives Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) and Phil Plummer (R-Dayton) today provided sponsor testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on the Larry Henderson Act, named after the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy, who was tragically killed while working security detail at the University of Cincinnati’s Spring Commencement on May 2, 2025.

Erika White (D-Springfield Township) and Ashley Bryant-Bailey (D-Cincinnati) recently introduced legislation to provide publicly funded childcare benefits to childcare employees who work at least 20 hours per week. House Bill (HB) 768 allows county Jobs and Family Services offices to exclude family income when determining eligibility for publicly funded childcare.

COLUMBUS — State Reps.
