State Representatives Gayle Manning (R-Avon) and Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk) today announced the Ohio House passed Amanda Dean’s Law, legislation that would increase criminal penalties to ensure accountability, protect human dignity, and provide justice for victims’ families.  

State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) today announced the Ohio House passed House Bill 758, the “Brenna Brossard SUDEP Awareness Act.” The bipartisan legislation would raise awareness of SUDEP, or Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy, by ensuring patients, families, healthcare providers, and first responders have access to prevention information and resources.

State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) is acknowledging the recent order from Governor Mike DeWine, in honor of Lorain County Administrator and Former State Senator Jeff Armbruster, that the flags of the United States and the state of Ohio shall be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Lorain County and at the Ohio Statehouse, Vern Riffe Center, and Rhodes Tower.
