Today, State Rep. Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) gave testimony on the first hearing for House Bill 230, which requires the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) to provide a plan to enhance their information and technology (IT) systems. Ray, a joint sponsor of the bill, spoke to it in the House Technology and Innovation Committee.

State Rep. Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) announces she will soon be introducing legislation that requires the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) to provide a plan to enhance their information and technology (IT) systems. Ray also submitted a separate amendment to the budget that will study Ohio’s (IT) systems for each of the state’s agencies. 

This week, State Rep. Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) gave sponsor testimony on House Bill 171 in the House Transportation and Public Safety Committee. House Bill 171 will help Ohio’s leading nonprofit organization by creating a license plate in their name, Keep Ohio Beautiful, as they connect with volunteers who create environmental projects that produce measurable economic benefits throughout the state. 

State Rep. Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) encourages chartered veterans service organizations throughout Ohio and Medina County to apply for the Veterans Post COVID Safety Grant. The initiative is to assist these groups in safely operating amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) appointed State Rep. Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) as Vice-Chair of the House Public Utilities Committee for the 134th General Assembly. 

Today, State Rep. Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) was officially sworn-in for her first term of office as the state representative for the 69th Ohio House District. The district includes most of Medina County and Ray is the first female of the district to hold this seat.
