COLUMBUS— Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) has announced that State Representative Scott Lipps (R-Franklin) has been appointed to serve on three Ohio House committees.
He had previously been appointed as vice chair of the House Federalism & Interstate Relations Committee. This week, he was added to two more committees:
• Finance (including the Finance Subcommittee on Agriculture, Development and Natural Resources)
• Agriculture & Rural Development
“I am honored to be chosen to help lead the newly created Federalism Committee, and I look forward to beginning the important work of the state’s budget process as a member of the House Finance Committee,” Lipps said.
Additionally, Speaker Rosenberger appointed Rep. Lipps to the Board of Trustees for the Warren County Transportation District.
Lipps is currently serving his first term in the Ohio House. He represents the 62nd Ohio House District, which includes most of Warren County.
