COLUMBUS – State Rep. Marilyn John (R-Richland County) today announced that the Ohio House has approved House Concurrent Resolution 7, legislation that urges Congress and the U.S. Department of Defense to keep the 179th Airlift Wing in Mansfield and to utilize its expertise in support of the C-130J Super Hercules aircraft while awaiting a decision on the Air National Guard Cyber Wing.

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representative yesterday passed House Bill 110, the House’s version of Ohio’s two-year budget plan. State Representative Marilyn John (R-Richland County) voted in support of the bill. 

State Rep. Marilyn John (R-Richland County) announces that the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) earlier this week approved a manufacturing expansion project in Mansfield that will bring new jobs and millions in new and retaining payroll.

State Rep. Marilyn John’s (R-Richland County) legislation allowing more flexibility for counties and assisting them against rising energy costs passed unanimously in the Ohio House earlier this week. John spoke to the bipartisan bill on the House floor. 

State Rep. Marilyn John (R-Richland County) voted to override the governor’s veto on Senate Bill 22, which establishes legislative oversight and transparency over orders issued during a state of emergency. Both chambers approved the veto override and the bill will become law.

Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) today appointed State Rep. Marilyn John (R-Richland County) as Vice-Chair of the State and Local Government Committee for the 134th General Assembly. 

State Rep. Marilyn John (R-Richland County) announces that businesses across Richland County can still apply for the Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund. The deadline for applications is set for Jan. 31, 2021.
