Cutrona Statement on Committee Passage of Resolution for Constitutional Changes

State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) has issued the following statement regarding the committee passage today of S.J.R. 2, which requires a 60% vote for constitutional changes:

“I support S.J.R. 2, and I’m glad to see it pass today in the Constitutional Resolutions Committee. We need a Constitution that’s not so easily altered, which is more similar to the way it’s done with the U.S. Constitution and many other states. It’s my hope to see the resolution move forward to the House floor, and with my support, we will further protect the state Constitution and the rights afforded to Ohioans contained within it.”
