State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) voted to approve and cosponsored a resolution on Wednesday that supports Israel. The legislation passed overwhelmingly in the Ohio House.
"Today, we stood in proud and unequivocal support for the people of Israel," Cutrona said. "The loss of innocent lives by this terrorist regime is tragic and appalling. We must pray for their country and the families as the fight against this evil organization continues on during this difficult time."
The resolution comes after last weekend when the terrorist organization known as Hamas attacked the State of Israel, killing hundreds of civilians and igniting a war within the region.
At this time, it has been reported the attacks have also killed over 20 Americans.
The fight between Israel and Hamas is ongoing.
