COLUMBUS – State Reps. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) and Michele Grim (D-Toledo) Wednesday introduced House Bill (HB) 521, the Child Performer Protection Act. The legislation initiates steps to protect minors in Ohio working in the entertainment industry from employment that is detrimental to their life and health.

This legislation will repeal the preemption of state supervision over dog sales in pet stores. Rep. Grim also visited local dog shelters to better understand the harmful effects of the puppy mill pipeline.

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today issued a letter to Administrator Amit Bose regarding the Federal Railroad Administration’s proposed long distance service route, in the Detroit-New Orleans Corridor. This route would include Toledo, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati.
