COLUMBUS – State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today announced that the City of Toledo has received $100K from The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to fund Outreach and Education, Tire Amnesty Events, and Litter Clean-Up Events.

“I am pleased to share that the Ohio EPA has awarded $100K to the City of Toledo to further support their ongoing cleanup efforts across our community. Litter prevention and clean up are essential practices for fostering pride in our community and healthy spaces to gather,” said Rep. Grim.

This funding will support local clean-up efforts that will involve the work of volunteers. All clean-up efforts will take place on public property across Toledo.
